Auto Repair in Glenview, MD You Can Trust

Hyundai SUV

Start with the service history

Knowing what was done and when makes maintenance easier to discuss. We keep vehicle repair and maintenance records and can add records from other shops.

Glenview drivers bring those records to our family-owned shop at 12356 Wilkins Ave in Rockville, where we've operated since 1990.

Bring the records you have and tell us about any gaps or new concerns you want to discuss during the visit.

PLAN YOUR GLENVIEW MAINTENANCE

Make a reminder into a useful appointment

We send text and email reminders for factory maintenance, oil changes and previously recommended work, including safety concerns. If you're unsure which recommendation a reminder refers to, ask us to explain it before choosing an appointment.

Let us know if another shop has already completed the work. Updated records help us plan future service. You can also bring a list of items that have been mentioned before so we can discuss them together, along with any new noise, warning light or starting issue.

Planning car care around Glenview

Glenview Mansion is part of Rockville Civic Center Park on Edmonston Drive, alongside places such as the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and Croydon Creek Nature Center. A visit for a program or an event can be planned well ahead, while vehicle maintenance is easier to forget until a reminder arrives.

If a service reminder falls near a date you already have booked, call us to discuss a suitable appointment. Preferred Automotive is at 12356 Wilkins Ave in Rockville. Bring the maintenance information you have, and tell us whether you're booking scheduled work or also need a new concern checked.

Service and the inspection report

Minor Service includes an oil change, tire rotation and a full AutoServe1 digital inspection with an explanation of the report.

The approximate cost is $195; confirm the price for your car. Diagnostic work is separate, so mention any new problem when booking.

When you book, tell us your vehicle's year, make and model and mention warning lights or symptoms separately from routine service. Bring the maintenance history you want us to review.

Ask which findings need attention and which are future recommendations. Discuss the work and its cost before approving repairs, and keep the report with the rest of your vehicle records.

ASK ABOUT MINOR SERVICE

Bring the records, and the keys when needed

Call 301-881-8530 to discuss the maintenance you want to arrange. Bring records you'd like us to review and add to the vehicle history. For an ignition concern, bring all keys; having both fobs also lets us check or replace both fob batteries if needed.

Tell us when you need the vehicle back and how to reach you during the visit. We can then discuss the work, timing and any findings that need your approval.
